Drifter Pale Ale – Widmer Brothers Brewing Co.

Drifter Pale Ale – Widmer Brothers Brewing Co.

Nice upfront flavor of sweet malt with some bitter hop bite to follow. After my palate cleared, I detected some grassy notes that seemed out of place and they detracted somewhat from the experience. All-in-all, not a bad tasting experience, and one of the better pale ales I’ve tasted. Modestly rich for a pale ale with the appropriate amount of cling on the tongue.
